Velvet Queen Sunflower Seeds

Velvet Queen sunflower seeds are a choice for gardeners who want burgundy flowers in their sunflower planting. Our family grows this variety for its blooms and the frequent visits they receive from garden bees. Each packet contains approximately 40-45 seeds selected and saved in Fort Wayne, Indiana.

Burgundy blooms on a taller sunflower

Our family describes Velvet Queen plants as reaching around five to seven feet tall, depending on growing conditions. That height range helps distinguish this variety from compact Teddy Bear sunflowers and from the separately listed giant sunflower lines in our collection.
